Your Parties

​

• Please remember to call your client at least 24-48 hours before the party. This will enable you to discuss any special requests and reassure the client that their party is in safe hands.
   

• Please arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the start of the party. It should only take you about 10 minutes to set up but this will allow time for you to start blowing up balloons (if included). Remember to put any inflated balloons out of the way as they will distract the children. Many entertainers buy pop up wash basket to store their balloons out of the way. It is advisable to give the balloon models out at the very end of the party in case they get popped.
   

• If you are doing 2 parties and the time between them means that you won’t arrive at your second party, 30 minutes in advance, then please liaise with your client and keep them informed.
   

• On arrival, liaise with your client concerning time for food, singing happy birthday and presenting cake, etc. 90 minute parties usually mean there is no food break so you would need to plan to do your balloons during the party.
   

• Keep your balloon models simple until you have gained a bit of confidence. There are loads of demos on the training website. You can also find various videos on YouTube.
   

• You must produce a special balloon model for the birthday child, it doesn’t necessarily have to be elaborate but does need to be different from all of the other balloons.
   

• You have to be ready to start welcoming guests at the start of the party. Allow 10 minutes for the guests to arrive, during which time you should be meeting and greeting with music playing. Remember if it’s a birthday party, you need to make a fuss of the birthday child(ren).
   

• At the end of your party, please remember to say goodbye to your client and thank them for their booking. It helps to mention that feedback is important to us and that they will be receiving a feedback request automatically by email, and you would appreciate it if they could complete it.
   

• Please remember that if you have encountered any problems before or during your party which may lead to negative feedback, it is important that you let Craig/Sarah know immediately.
