Musical Corners

Instructions

1) You will need 8 balloons of 4 different colours, ie 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow and 2 green.

Blow up 4 of the balloons (1 of each colour) and put the balloons in a different corner of the room. Place the other 4 (deflated) balloons in your pocket.

2) Split the children into two teams; such as Boys V Girls.

3) The children will dance in the middle of the room to the music. As soon as the music stops you shout "Corners 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" and the children have 5 seconds to run to a corner. As soon as you have finished counting they need to stay where they are.

4) You then reach in your pocket and take a random balloon out of your pocket. Lets say you choose the red balloon, that means the red corner is the winning corner. Whichever team has more of their team members in the red corner whould win a point. For example if you were playing boys v girls and there was 6 girls and 5 boys the girls would win a point.

5) This is then repeated as many times as you wish. Typically first to 6.
